ISuRE Strategic Planning Workshop was held for two days on 17 and 18 March 2022 at Hilton Kuching. The workshop was attended by 30 officers consisting of research fellows and lecturer is also one of the incentives for planning the upcoming ISuRE activities that will be held in the next two years from 2022-2024. Besides that, this workshop can also provide guidance to each participant to determine annual work targets in line with the ISuRE Strategic Plan that has been developed. UNIMAS Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Mohamad Kadim bin Suaidi, was also present to officiate the program and convey his message so that ISuRE can further enhance its role especially in handling issues of sustainability and renewable energy in facing future challenges. Apart from that, he also advised all workshop participants to be able to provide the best input and suggesstions and focus on improving the function of ISuRE to the university and to the development of the state of Sarawak in particular. Among those who also attended the program was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation, Professor Dr. Wan Hashim bin Wan Ibrahim, and Senior Director of the Center for Research, Innovation and Enterprise, Professor Dr. Lo May Chiun.
